The Bold Colors online art competition invites artists to explore the vibrant and dynamic world of color. Artists are encouraged to create artworks that celebrate the intensity and variety of hues, using color as a powerful tool to convey emotions, stories, and abstract concepts. Whether it’s through painting, photography, mixed media, or digital art, this theme allows artists to push the boundaries of their creativity and inspire viewers with their bold and vivid expressions. 

Submit your artwork by January 31, 2025.

Awards & Prizes

The winner will receive a $100 cash prize, a certificate, and a feature on the front page of our website. The first, second, and third place winners will receive recognition on the website’s and through our social media channels. Additionally, merit and honorable mention awards will be presented. The exhibition will include the artist’s name, work title, and website or email link. Extensive media coverage and online promotion on our website will be provided to all participants, ensuring widespread exposure of their talent and artwork. Recipients of the competition’s will receive digital certificates.
 
*Prize money must be claimed by the winner within 60 days or forfeited.

Terms of Entry

  • Open worldwide
  • Artists must be 18 years old
  • All backgrounds, skill levels and styles accepted
  • All visual media accepted: Painting, Mixed Media, Photography, Digital, and Sculpture
  • Entry fees are non-refundable
  • Images must be original work created by the submitting artist

Commission-Free Approach:

We empower artists and connect them directly with buyers, ensuring that all sales are exclusively between the artist and the buyer.

Entry fees

15 for 1 / $25 for 4 images / 30 for 6 images

Image Requirements:

  1. File Size: Max 2MB
  2. Format: jpg, jpeg, png, mp4 only
  3. Ensure professional presentation;  including proper cropping, no mockups, frames or watermarks.
  4. File Name Format: Artist Name -TitleofArt.jpeg

Competition Timeline

*If you encounter any issues we’re here to help, you can email us your application. Please include the following details in your email: Artist Name, Email Address, Website (optional). Attach images of your artwork, labeled with their titles and mediums.

Once we receive your submission, we will send you an invoice for the application fee.

Terms and Conditions

This Agreement outlines the terms and conditions between the artist and Blue Koi Gallery. Prior to submitting their artwork, all artists who wish to participate in any competition on our website (koisartistaward.com) are required to consent to the following terms:

Artwork will only be used for marketing, promotional, and display purposes. This includes featuring them on the Blue Koi Gallery website, social media platforms, etc.

The artist hereby grants permission to Blue Koi Gallery to archive selected artwork as a part of the exhibition. This archival will be made accessible for public viewing on our official website (koisartistaward.com).

 The selected works will feature the artist’s name, the title of their artwork, and a link back to their website. If the artist doesn’t have a website, we’ll include their email address for contact purposes.

 Artist shall retain all copyrights of any image they submit to the Blue Koi Gallery.

The images on this site will not be resold, exchanged, or copied.
