About The Koi Artist Award

The Koi Artist Award, hosted by Blue Koi Gallery, celebrates artistic excellence by recognizing visual artists who demonstrate originality, technical skill, and a compelling artistic voice. Open to creators worldwide, this award provides a $500 unrestricted artist grant, a published interview for the winner and global promotion. Finalists receive a featured artist page, social media promotion, and a finalist certificate. The competition welcomes both 2D and 3D visual artists, encouraging diverse artistic expressions.

Eligibility & Rules

  • Open worldwide to artists 18 years and older

  • Accepts all backgrounds, skill levels, and styles

  • All visual media welcome: Painting, Mixed Media, Photography, Digital, and Sculpture

  • Entry fee: $35 for up to 8 images

  • Submitted artwork must be original and professionally presented

The Koi Artist Award celebrates visual artists whose work reflects technical skill, creative depth, and a distinctive voice. We invite 2D and 3D submissions across all styles and mediums—from traditional painting to innovative sculpture.

We’re excited to see your work. Before submitting, please review the guidelines below to ensure your application meets our standards. This helps our jury evaluate your work as clearly and fairly as possible.

High-resolution images (Maximum  2000px on the longest side)

JPEG or PNG format only

No watermarks , Frames or signatures

Professional lighting and neutral background preferred

Label file names clearly (Artist name – Artwork Title.jpg)
